Justice Impacted Scholars Grant

The Justice Impacted Scholars Grant from the Youth Services Commission is a College-wide initiative designed to holistically address the academic, career and social needs of justice-involved students as they pursue a certificate, GED or associate degree at the College. We offer specialized services and ongoing support to stay actively engaged and remain a contributing member of society.

Who Is Eligible

A justice impacted scholar is a student who has experienced one or more of the following:

  • Been arrested, charged, convicted, or incarcerated.
  • Has had a parent, sibling, or extended family member, who is currently or has been involved in the justice system.
  • Been a victim of a crime.
  • Has been affected by the justice system to an extent that its involvement has impacted their life.

Applications will be considered twice monthly during the academic year.
